The Dockers was established in 1994 and from then the team has not won any premiership in AFL but reached at the 2013 AFL Grand Final. Ross Lyon is the current head coach of Fremantle Football club. Nat Fyfe, captain of Fremantle Dockers, leads the team since AFL 2017.

Geelong Cats: The Geelong Football Club is the second oldest club, which formed in 1859, with a three-time AFL Premiers in the Australian Rules Football history since 1990. The AFL 2018 will be the club’s 119th season in the senior competition. Kardinia Park is the current home ground of the club. Former Brisbane Lions vice-captain Chris Scott is working as the current head coach of the team. Gold Coast Suns: The team Gold Coast is established in 2009. The 2018 Australian Football League is the 8th AFL season of the Gold Coast Football Club. Hawthorn: The Hawthorn Hawks football club steps its 94th senior competition of Aussie Rules Football. Hawks formed their football team in 1902 and entered into the AFL in 1925. The Hawthorn Football Club will celebrate its 10th anniversary in the round 21 of 2018 AFL Premiership Season against Geelong Cats. Melbourne FC: The Melbourne Football Club is the oldest Australian Football League team formed in 1858. The 2018 AFL will be its 119th year in the AFL Premiership.
